Oh Composer, Where For Art Thou?

It's been nine years. Alot can happen in nine years. Why a guy could complete elementary and middle school in 9 years. Nine years can pass by in nine years.
If a tree takes 9 years to fall in the forest...sorry.

A bunch has happened in CG. All stuff I used; Wavefront Adv. Visualizer, Dynamation, Kinemation, Alias Power Animator, Alias|Wavefront Explore, and my beloved 4 Proc Onyx and Abekas Diskus have faded into nostalgia.

There is a great variety of new stuff out there to use, and even better, a lot of it is Open Source too. I thought it would be an easy task to find a compositing tool that would replace my beloved Alias|Wavefront Composer. Nope! So if you are here at wit's end trying to find a decent composer, well I think we've found one.

Blender's Sequence Editor is a sorta-kinda Composer. It probably could be one if they keep on developing it. So I'm starting this blog to collect and create tutorials to quickly get you up to speed on using Blender for compositing. The docs are kinda thin, hard to find, tutorials and plugins are scarce, but what's there is good, and will only get better if we all jump on and help. So enough blabbing, let's get started!
